Survival to Caregiving, Strength in every season
Join us for a powerful caregiver speaker series featuring Carl Bazarian, survivor of the 2009 Miracle on the Hudson, and Heather VolKema from Trualta, an online caregiver support program sponsored by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. Carl shares his journey as a survivor of a life-altering plane crash later transitioning to the role of full-time caregiver for his wife with dementia, while Trualta provides practical tools, education and guidance through a free online platform to help empower caregivers.
Silent Book Club Amelia
This group has no required reading, bring your own book for some quiet reading time as well as enjoy a bit of social time as you connect with fellow readers. Everyone is welcome. Meet new people, sip a beverage, have some dinner/snack, enjoy some reading time and have fun with us!

Meet Musicians: Anne Meyers & Jason Vieaux
Violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, a Grammy Award winner is a returning. Festival favorite celebrated for her stunning performances and collaborations with today’s foremost composers. She is joined by Grammy‑winning guitarist Jason Vieaux, praised by NPR as “perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation” and admired for his vibrant, expressive artistry.
